Guide to Summer Israel Programs - Updated March 2007

BCI - It's not Bubbe's matzo ball soup, but it WILL feed your soul. Come to BCI this summer and connect to Judaism on your terms. Learn, dance, discover, experience, sing, plant, wonder, breathe, share, reconnect, hike, create - live! This summer, give yourself 26 days in California to envision your own Jewish life. Through artistic expression, dynamic learning, and exploring the outdoors, a summer at BCI is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in Jewish culture and develop relationships that will last a lifetime. You will have the opportunity to interact with some of the world’s finest Jewish scholars and artists. Located on a 3,000-acre ranch just north of Los Angeles, BCI has brought young Jews (aged 18-26) from all over the world to have a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience for the past 65 years. BCI is non-denominational and we welcome participants from all levels of knowledge, background and affiliation. This summer we are offering two sessions: June 14-July 9 OR July 12-August 6. Please note that students and residents of KS and MO qualify to apply for the Kansas City Scholarship to attend BCI! We encourage you to apply ASAP, as scholarships are limited and granted on a first-come, first-serve basis.
