Volunteer Opportunity
The Roger Hill Volunteer Center is looking for 6 volunteers to help with their Kids Voting Project for the upcoming midterm elections, Tuesday, November 7.
This program is a joint initiative of the Lawrence Journal World, Lawrence Public Schools, and Roger Hill Volunteer Center. The mission of the program is to instill the values of citizenship and educate young people about the democratic process through pre-election education, and opportunities to vote alongside adults in a special “Kids Voting” election.
There are three shifts to choose from during the day, ranging from 2 to 2.5 hours.
