Paid Internship Opportunity

The Learning for Life Jewish Community Summer Internship Program is an opportunity for college aged juniors and seniors to get paid while working for a Jewish agency/organization. Interns have worked at the following institutions over the past four summers: Beth Israel Abraham and Voliner, Congregation B’nai Jehudah, Kansas University Hillel Foundation, Midwest Center for Holocaust Education, The Jewish Community Relations Bureau/American Joint Committee, Jewish Community Center’s summer camps, Jewish Community Foundation, Jewish Federation of Greater Kansas City, Jewish Heritage Foundation and Village Shalom.

The goals of this internship program are to:
• Provide mentor-based paid field experiences for college students
• Expose students to the field of Jewish communal service and to the Greater Kansas City Jewish Community
• Incorporate students’ academic and/or personal interests with the Jewish communal professional world
• Provide a professional mentor experience within the Jewish community
